Discovery@VCU has been offering quality summer camps for middle school students for over 10 years, and the Mary and Frances Youth Center is looking forward to leading this initiative. The program has been transitioning from another VCU department to ours and we appreciate your interest and patience during this change. This transition is giving us the opportunity to assess the program and the needs of the community.

In order to make these assessments and retain the quality of the program, we have decided to suspend the program for this summer and to reopen Summer 2013. We want to build on the wonderful reputation and successes of Discovery@VCU and serve a broader range of youth in the community.

There are still a plethora of summer opportunities at VCU, many of which align with the classes offered in the past through Discovery@VCU.  We hope that you will not only find another program to participate in this year, but will come back next year to see all the new and exciting programs we have to offer through Discovery@VCU!
