Casting nearly 500 ballots with 90 percent supporting the resolution, Society for Nutrition Education (SNE) members voted in favor of changing the name of the organization to the Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior.

The Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior Board of Directors, meeting prior to the SNEB 2011 Annual Conference in Kansas City, MO, unanimously agreed to investigate modifying the name of the organization to the Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior.
