Meredith Cole is working on her third book Murder Under Development and on a new series set in Washington, DC.

She will be appearing at the Virginia Festival of the Book, moderating a horror panel and a thriller panel.

She appeared at multiple local libraries for The Big Read in the spring, at Murder 203 in April and at the Library of Virginia's Mystery Day in October.

Meredith also spoke at the Nancy Drew convention in April.

Meredith Cole teaches mystery writing and novel writing at the University of Virginia.

Her radio essay was recently on NPR, and you can find hear the recording on WVTF's website.

She had a lovely profile piece in the local paper, The Hook in 2010.

Meredith was nominated for an Agatha Award in 2010 for Best First Mystery Novel for POSED FOR MURDER

Her second book, DEAD IN THE WATER,
came out in 2010. The book continues
the adventures of Lydia McKenzie in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The Dutch translation of the book, AANGESPOELD, came out in February 2011.
