Since then, the Forum has grown substantially from a gathering of pioneers with a strong vision, to a major industry event that it is today. The vision of FTTH is about to become an exciting reality in China, with China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile all on the verge of large-scale optical network rollouts. The arrival of optical in the access network means carriers are able to meet the growing demand for bandwidth-intensive applications like IPTV and video and roll out a swathe of new convergence services.
China FTTH Forum 2012 is the eighth annual conference designed at sharing information and insights into this powerful new technology and the massive changes it will drive in the telecom business.
