So many of you who visit dkMommy Spot regularly have your own blogs too. And, like me, many of you have your own online stores, businesses, or consider your blogs your businesses. If you’ve got the entrepreneurial bug, then you’ll be very interested in today’s giveaway. PR in Your Pajamas is an eBook that helps the work-at-home mom promote her own business without taking a lot of time or money.
I read PR in Your Pajamas in a relatively short amount of time; it’s a quick and easy read which makes perfect sense. Any work-at-home moms with their own businesses knows there’s just no time for added “homework”. Writer, mom entrepreneur, and work-at-home mom Elena Verlee has put together a book that’s fast and fun to read; her eBook cuts to the chase and gives you simple, straightforward advise on doing your own PR work (PR = public relations). I enjoyed her informative look into PR and her approach for attacking it in bite-sized chunks. Her eBook is also peppered with great quotes from successful female entrepreneurs that will provoke idea sparks and encourage you to keep going.
If you need PR for your business (and who doesn’t?) but you don’t have money to hire professionals and you don’t have much spare time to add another layer to your already-hectic day, then PR in Your Pajamas will give you the edge you need to take your business to the next level. You’ll learn about creating a pitch, building a media list, choosing a photographer, gathering a fan base and more – all by devoting small, manageable amounts of time each day.
Elena Verlee is giving away 2 of her PR in Your Pajamas eBooks to 2 dkMommy Spot readers ($29 retail)! Are you ready to make that business grow? Here’s the first step:

I’m excited about this 50-page e-book and how it provides in print and online strategies on: why you need raving fans and how to get them, why you don’t need a press release and media pet peeves and how to avoid them. Sounds like the perfect book for a new start-up (like me):)
