Who is mybikestand?
My name is Ian “WingNutt”, the nick name comes from my Dad who seems to think all my nuts, bolts and screws are only finger tight-bound to come loose! I have spent most of my days on a bike. Racing BMX in my early days and during my junior and senior years in high school I worked for a bike shop here in Las Vegas, Bicycle Depot. Racing BMX, often traveling to nationals and soon a few road rides and races then the early days of Downhill and Dual Slalom. As my son was able to ride a bike and became excited in BMX my enthusiasm began to only rise. Now racing Mtn cross and trying to touch Downhill again, I am on the bike tearing up the mountain. A small stable of bikes graces my garage that include BMX and Mtn bikes. I have always felt that wheels belong below me. I plan to keep it that way!
