I just wanted to say that I was sorry for not updating often. I know it’s been along time. Life has been super busy for me but I am planning on getting a new look for the site and more updates soon. If you would like to help me just comment on this post. : )

Nobel Peace Prize Concert In Oslo, Norway!

Evanescence is performing at this year’s Nobel Peace Prize concert in Oslo, Norway on December 11, 2011 at the Oslo Spektrum! The band will join a number of other accomplished performing artists including singer-songwriter David Gray, vocalist Jill Scott, country duo Sugarland and Matthew Morrison from “Glee.”
The concert is scheduled to broadcast globally in up to 130 countries including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, South and Central America, and the United States. It will also be streamed live on CNN International at 8:00pm CET on December 11.

Good news for you European EvClub members wanting their chance to meet Evanescence! Beginning with the November 4th show in London, UK, we will be randomly selecting 10 EvClub members to participate in SOUNDCHECK and a MEET & GREET with the band! To be eligible for the first Europe Meet & Greet, EvClub members must enter before 10:00 AM PST, Thursday November 3rd, 2011.
How to enter the Soundcheck and Meet & Greet contest:
Sign into EvFanClub.com using your EvClub Account. If you do not have a EvClub Account, please sign up for an EvClub membership here: www.evfanclub.com/login
Visit the Tours & Tickets page, select the tour date you plan to attend, and then select “YES” under the question, “ARE YOU GOING TO THIS EVENT?”
If you are randomly selected for a Meet and Greet, you will be contacted via E-Mail with more information on when and where to pick up your Meet and Greet Pass.

New Opening Act Added for UK Shows

Amy and the band are now off to the United Kingdom to show their international fans some love. In place of Fair to Midland, Australian band Me will be the first of three opening acts to join them on the UK leg of their tour, and will be the sole opener for the Evanescence show in Paris on November 16th! Hey guys. Just wanted to say hi! As you know the record is finally complete (yes!!) and we’ve just been doing tons of promo to spread the word and get our music heard! I went to Miami and Mexico for a few days for press, saw some new and some familiar faces. I got letters, beautiful drawings, and one fan had sewed 2 Octopi for me based on my art on the EvClub page (so cute!). Then we shot the video in NYC, which was awesome! Some of you were there and it was so good to see you again ; ) Then it was off to rehearsals and our first two shows in 2 years! I wont lie, I was nervous because it had been so long since I’d been on stage. But the moment Will hit those first drums on What You Want and the lights hit me and I started to sing I felt instantly at home. I love what I do. I’ve been buried deep in the creation phase for so long, and I LOVE that part so much- but I missed performing. Its unlike anything else to share that energy with a big room full of people- all feeling the same feeling at the same time… I stayed in Canada for a few days doing press there after Rock on the Range, and then flew to Europe for a whole promo tour- London, Milan, Zurich, Colone, Paris (I’m getting tired just talking about my schedule! haha). I’ve got to be honest, the interviews are my least favorite part (and there were TONS of them). To read the rest Join Evclub!
