Keepin’ it Country is an independent country music site started by two girls with a passion for all things country music. We have an amazing, enthusiastic writing team from across North America. We want to be your resource for everything country music, summing up the day’s news and reviewing the latest albums from your favorite artists and up-and-coming ones as well. We like to focus on the stories that other sites might miss. Our goal is to become your source for the latest country music news and discovery of the newest acts before you see them elsewhere. We want to provide country music fans everything they need without red tape and with honesty. Everything we do on this site we do out of our own pockets just for the love of music!

We’ve become one of the leading voices of independent country music in Canada with our Canadian headquarters. We have a strong staff of nine: including two photographers, and we are spread out throughout North America. We have an American headquarters in New York, and a Canadian headquarters in Canada.

We pride ourselves on having fan interaction and involvement in everything we do: live Tweeting from award shows and major events, asking celebrities the questions the fans wanted us to ask, and having the coolest giveaways that the fans want to have.

We are very excited to announce that we are expanding yet again at Keepin’ it Country! We’ve become one of the newest leading voices of country music in Canada and the United States, and as part of our expansion into the New Year we will be starting to do radio call-ins to discuss the latest country music news out of Nashville, (and Canada for Canadian markets),  the hottest news, the latest albums, and what we think about upcoming award shows or festivals. With a team of ten writers, we have people available in nearly every timezone and market. We were at the Country Music Association awards in 2011, and we recently had access to some of country music’s hottest stars on the red carpet at the FOX American Country Awards in 2011 as well as the backstage press room. We have some exclusive interviews that you won’t see anywhere else. With our staff spread out throughout North America, we are often at different country music concerts and major music festivals, and we can get you all the updates you need from the top acts in country music! We can bring you the latest news on the hottest acts weekly by calling in to your shows.
