When you enter the Ice Castles, you agree to observe all Ice Castle rules. The rules are that visitors cannot climb any of the ice structures, cannot run inside the Ice Castles, and cannot touch the icicles.  Visitors may touch the solid ice formations, but not icicles as they will break and fall.

Parents with children are responsible to make certain that their children follow these rules at all times.

Although we groom the walking paths daily to make them as safe as we can, you will be walking upon uneven terrain which consists of snow and ice that may be slippery.  You will also be walking under arches made only of ice. You could slip and fall causing injury. Ice may fall from the ice structures. These risks simply cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity.

Your entrance into the Ice Castles means you accept these known risks and also all unknown risks and hereby release Ice Castles, LLC from any liability that may arise from an injury to you.

Please be careful, and watch your step. If you feel like you need special assistance, please contact one of our staff before entering the Ice Castles.

The image to the right shows one of the walking paths in the Ice Castles.  As stated earlier, we cultivate the walkways regularly, but as everything in the Ice Castle is made of ice, we cannot eliminate all hazards.  There will be ice chunks on the ground, and some areas may be slippery.  We have ski poles at the ticket booth, free of charge, for those who would like to take the poles with them.   Again, if you have concerns about your safety in walking across snow and ice, please speak with one of our on-site staff.
