A.N.D.Y. is Andy Faisca’s new project after the demise of Mustang. With a background of 70’s and 80’s disco, pop, hip hop and rock music Andy is a fanatic of all things past, turning them into music for the future. After remixes for Jupiter, The Supermen Lovers and Philosophy of Sound, A.N.D.Y. teamed with new producer Vicente for the recording of his debut single ‘Traffic’. The Supermen Lovers and Jay Lamar & Jesse Oliver were called in and delivered awesome remixes. Discotexas bring us another great release. Nice!

In the build up to Drop Out Orchestra’s upcoming ‘It Will Never Be The Same Again’ release, out May 21st on Eskimo Recordings, they have put together this super selection of fresh disco house tracks. It also features two brand new remixes of their single by Moullinex and Punks Jump Up. Nice!

After the rip-roaring success of ‘Down Fever’ single last month, having featured in one of Aeroplanes monthly mixes. The Chicago collective Only Children are back with another magnificent track entitled ‘Whatcha Wanna’. They’ve also done a little disco mix. Expect more singles from them over the coming month. Nice!

MOON RUNNER // INTERACTIVE TRACK

Here comes the third release on new German label Toy Tonics. The label is setting out to release funky future-retro house and electronic dance music. The next release comes from Moon Runner, which was formed by musicians Alec Sander aka La Royale and Juan Soto, who have been resident DJs at Mexico City’s hottest clubs for a few years now. Our favourite track from the EP is ‘Interactive Track’ which serves up a sleazy electro-boogie sound with a funky swing and plenty of synth action. Nice!

Following the Hollywood EP, the top NYC producer is back with a release on French Express. The EP named ‘Ironbound’ includes five well-crafted tracks full of 90s house vibes. ‘Fuego’ is definitely our favorite cut from the release, followed by Razor 2.0. I’m a big fan of Noir and his label, they’re really leading the way in new deep house vibes. Up next is newcomers Millok & Zigelli from Montenegro who debut in the Noir Music family with this fine piece. This release comes with great remixes by one of my favourite producers at the moment, Mario Basanov along with remix from Balcazar & Sordo. I’ll let the music do the talking here. Cream Dream is a 19 year old producer from New York who derives influence from palm trees, smooth disco, champagne and late nights! He has just released this track as part of an EP out on Plik & Plok Records – a new Paris-based label – and the EP is called ‘Crimson’. It’s his take on French Touch, and the result is super sexy! Plus it’s free to download. Nice!

I included this in our recent FIZZMIX # 2 – but thought it was too good not to blog as well. It’s a edit from Australian producer & DJ going by the name of Bear Feet. The music he creates & plays oozes with summer vibes. He takes the 1982 single ‘Feelin’ Lucky Lately’ by High Fashion and gives it a funky, uptempo feel, leaving in the chorus, because it’s damn awesome! Now we just need summer in London to enjoy this little beauty.
