LoaTree- Food and Farming Initiatives

LoaTree has spent considerable time working on issues around sustainable food production, agricultural viability and community development. As food access and food security become more relevant to communities across the country, LoaTree’s role will continue to expand in this field.

Current services include farmer consultation to expand local markets; facilitation of stakeholder roundtables aimed at ‘localizing’ food systems; business consultation to include locally grown food products as part of day to day business activities; events production and management and more.

Current ‘food’ clients and business partners include the Ag Innovations Network, Ag Futures Alliance, Orella Stewardship Institute, Roots of Change, Santa Barbara Farmers Market Association, the s’Cool Food Initiative (a project of the Orfalea Foundations), SOhO Restaurant and Music Venue, the SOL Food Festival, and the Urban and Environmental Policy Institute.
