SEPTEMBER 15 & 16, 10am to 4pm: Living History Festival. Held in conjunction with the annual Danish Days celebration throughout Solvang. Demonstrations of Old World arts and crafts, storytelling with Hans Christian Andersen, and interactive activities for all ages. FREE.

NOVEMBER 2 & 3: Queen of Arts Show & Sale. More than 30 artists and craftspeople show and sell their original, handmade items during this popular annual event. Friday night, 4 to 7:00pm, opening reception and sale. Show and sale continue Saturday from 10am to 5pm.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 2, 5:30 to 8pm: Members and Friends Christmas Party. Celebrate the season in traditional Danish style. Live music, singing and dancing around the Christmas tree, Danish open-face sandwiches, Santa and Mrs. Claus, and plenty of Christmas cheer!
