Who is who at Bikster

John Higgins : having started coding in BASIC language at college he took home the DOS manual and read it cover to cover over the weekend thereby laying down his love and knowledge of computers. A degree course followed and the year out in industry saw him write a sales costing program for Wimpey Homes.

His first ever website was launched in 1994 as a mess of animated GIF images and scrolling text... this was cutting edge at the time and thankfully a nostalgia free period of the internet. He discovered Actinic in 2003 and has been hooked ever since.

June Higgins : traditionally trained in art and graphic design in an era before computers were mainstream and going on to work for the Department of Health in London and Leeds. She was involved with the launch of the Patient's Charter in 1993.

A degree course in Psychology was followed by a course in creative writing and the establishment of a thriving Ebay business. Her expertise in selling, design and language makes her perfect for design consultation, proof reading, copywriting and website usability studies.

Why we use Actinic?

Out of the many e-commerce software packages out there why do we use Actinic to power our sites? What makes it so special we are happy to put our names next to it?
