WORSHIP
Worship is one of the core foundations of Cross Lanes Baptist Church. Our desire is to use our songs and music to help people connect with God in a greater way. We are committed to expressing our love to our Lord and Savior. God is worthy of our highest and our best.
We believe that God inhabits the praises of His people. We desire to clearly sense and experience God’s presence every time the church gathers. We want to connect closely with Him and hear His voice so that we may become more like Him.
CLBC Worship is made up of a dedicated team of worshippers who give of their time, talents, and lives to see God lifted up!
The Worship Choir, our Adult Choir with over 60 members, is a dedicated group of singers which serves an active role each week in our worship services preparing the heart for the Word of God. The Worship Choir is accompanied by the instrumentalists. In addition to musicals, and special events, the Worship Choir provides a unique opportunity for those desiring to serve the Lord in a musical capacity and experience the fellowship of a wonderful loving family of believers!
The Instrumentalists, our Adult instrument group, is made up of musicians from our church body. These instrumentalists are using their talents for the Lord Jesus Christ by faithfully playing in our Sunday worship services every week.
The Praise Team is an invitation/audition group of singers who assist in leading the congregation in worship during our Sunday services.
Children’s Choir, our children’s chorus, is made up of children from kindergarten through the fifth grade. Our children’s choir is directed by Mrs. Claudia Wrigley.
If you are interested in serving in any capacity within the music ministry, please contact me at robert@crosslanesbaptist.org
Psalm 150:3-6: Praise Him with trumpet blast; praise Him with harp and lyre. Praise Him with tambourine and dance; praise Him with flute and strings. Praise Him with resounding cymbals; praise Him with clashing cymbals. Let everything that breathes praise the LORD. Hallelujah!
