The Exciting Venues & Events browser

EVDB and Google Maps opened up their APIs a few weeks ago. So I thought, wouldn’t it be cool if I had this map of the city I lived in, and it showed every venue and event that was taking place near me? I thought so too.
I’m not supporting a huge list of cities just yet, but I’m hoping what you see today will give you an idea of what’s to come.

Dear Webmaster,
I recently purchased the domain MoreMap.com and I am very intrigued by many of these map sites, including yours. I have decided to make somewhat of a hub for all these map “programs”. I believe this would revolutionize the internet–
Imagine if a user could go to a website, type in an address and see it from a space-type in a zip code and have a satellite image of all local movie theaters with show times-type in a zip code and see all the Wifi hotspots in the area-type in a zip code and see all events going on in that area-type in a zip code and see all local fast-food restaurants-type in a zip code and find cheap gas in the specified area-and much more
I am inviting your “program” to be part of something special, I am not sure how I am going to lure you yet– but I have already thought of letting you control that part of the site allowing you to make all ad revenue and have full authority of it. I can assure you by signing onto this project you will be part of something HUGE, and most likely make a “pretty penny” as well
I look forward to your response-Please feel free to contact me at anytime via this email or via phone (561)251-9552
This is ‘our’ chance to make something happen.

What about Toronto, Canada. I heard it’s the fourth largest city in North America.
