Branding Communications Firm Honored for Superior Creative Work

HERNDON, VA – January 6, 2012 - Vizual, Inc., a Northern Virginia branding communications firm, was awarded six 2011 MarCom design awards that honor excellence in marketing and communications. Included in the winning projects are two platinum winners, three gold winners and one honorable mention. The annual MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that is judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) with entries coming from corporate communication and marketing departments, ad agencies, PR firms, freelancers, design studios, and production companies.

“Winning awards is always fun and satisfying,” Jeff Lupisella, president of Vizual relates. “It’s even more fun to present the statuettes to our clients, especially if we have more than one to give them! It’s also quite an accomplishment for them as well, since we approach our relationships with our clients in a very collaborative, synergistic way.”

The platinum award is the most prestigious prize, received by only 18% of entries that were outstanding in terms of quality, creativity, and resourcefulness. The gold award is presented to those who are above the industry norms and standards, with 18% receiving this accomplishment. Honorable mention certificates are given to those entries that meet the judges’ expectations, with 10% acquiring these. Worldwide, there were over 6,000 entries for this 2011 contest.
