Dr. Daniel Botkin at Three Forks, MT
CSE is led by Dr. Daniel B. Botkin, president and founder. Considered by many to be a global leader among environmental scientists, Dr. Botkin also is a Professor for the Department of Biology at George Mason University. As the author of more than 100 books and articles, including Discordant Harmonies: A New Ecology for the 21st Century; Forest Dynamics: An Ecological Model; Environmental Science: Earth as a Living Planet (co-author) Our Natural History: Lessons from Lewis and Clark; and his latest book, Powering the Future: A Scientist’s Guide to Energy Independence, 2010, FT Press. Dr. Botkin is one of the most published scientists on environmental issues.
