Matt Swain

Hi, I’m Matt Swain. This site is a collection of notes about things I’m working on and links to things I’ve made.

I’m a PhD student currently working in the Structure and Dynamics group in the Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge. My work focuses on using computational methods to predict efficient new materials for use in dye-sensitised solar cells.

Previously I was an MSci physics student studying at Imperial College London, where I worked on applying methods from physics and mathematics to the analysis of electrogram signals to help diagnose and treat Atrial Fibrillation.

I also do a bit of development for the Mac, iOS and the web.
