I’ve been listening to a lot of slo-mo disco & deep house recently. I came across Greg Woznikaitis of Pennsylvania when I was listening to Glasgow based SloMo radio. He provided a guestmix of slo-mo house & disco, and as part of the set he is also giving away one of his own tracks “Can’t Stop”. It’s a super sexy, down-tempo number – can’t get enough of it! I’ve also include the full radio podcast, lots more treats in there!

I only just posted about Touchsoul earlier this week (see a few posts down) with another one of his 80′s disco edits. This time it’s his Sounds of April mix – which is really too good not to share as our Sunday chill. It’s 11 tracks of slo-mo house and deep disco, the first track by Volta Cab is delicious. SUNDAY CHILL # 14

Last night was pretty epic down at The Nest in London, where I saw Mighty Mouse launch his Disco Circus Vol 3 & Perseus kick off his European tour. Great sets from both. So I really needed something special this morning to help me deal with the worlds worst hangover!

So I was delighted to see Rocco Raimundo had dropped the 3rd vol in his Ridin’ With Rocco mix series. Hangover cure sorted! It’s a concoction of 17 slow-mo disco / edits / house tracks that you can sit back and relax with. Perfect!

SUNDAY CHILL # 13

There’s been plenty of online chatter about this collection of slo-mo groovers, pitched-down disco edits & soft-focus midtempo deep house from Yam Who’s ISM label. It’s not hard to see why. It pretty much features all of the artists making their name on the slo-mo scene – Rayko, 78 Edits, Sleazy McQueen, Heion, Deadly Sins etc – alongside familiar names pitching it down a notch or two. Deadly Sins has put together a very nice downtemp promo mix, including a few of the tracks from this release. Over an hour of pure slo-mo joy. Enjoy!

Sorry for a late Sunday Chill post, just sneaking it in before midnight! This mix has been perfect for a hungover sunny Sunday in London – thanks to our friend Pat over at Slothboogie. It’s an hour of pure disco joy.

SUNDAY CHILL # 11

The clocks have gone forward and the sun has well and truly been out in London this weekend. As such, I’ve gone for three mixtapes with a warm chilled vibe. The first is a recent Ready To Be Chilled Podcast mixed by Rayco Santos for Tunnel FM, beautiful downtempo mix going on a journey through Deep, House, Lounge & Nu Disco. Next is from Avanti, a Mexican duo with their Pleasure Sessions mix. Worth noting, they released a new EP over the weekend called Beautiful Mistake, it’s a very nice dollop of spacey disco, make sure you check it out as well. And we end the Sunday Chill with a mix from Final DJs, which really is some great summer flavoured beats! Enjoy.

SUNDAY CHILL # 10 // ST PATRICK’S DAY HANGOVER CURE!

What a week! Work, Pacha, St Patricks Day. I’ve had little time for blog love, but I’m back listening to some great new tunes which I will get up here very soon (that’s if I can push through this hangover!).

Thought it would be a good idea to start Sunday chill with an Irish producer from Belfast, Michael Dillon aka Maricopa. He produces chill-wave, ambient sounds which are very soothing. Perfect! Followed by a smooth remix of Patrice Rushen’s “Remind Me” track by Italian producer, Le Nonsense, very nice chill nu-disco vibe.

Next on the list is French producer Oxford’s new track “Head Back”, which is a warm laid-back dance track. And lastly we have a 1 hour / 14 track mix from a fairly unknown German DJ, DaBass – he checks in with a chilled nu-disco mixtape.
