Habitat for Humanity provides quality, affordable houses to families in need.  Habitat homeowners gain self-respect as they work alongside volunteers to construct their homes.  Since 1985, our home building ministry has built over 400 houses in Central Indiana.

Ways to Donate:

Become a monthly donor  - Enroll in our Dream Builder’s Club giving program, and your monthly gift will help provide Habitat for Humanity with consistent and reliable source of funding that allows us to plan ahead.

NAP Tax Credits - By contributing to Habitat for Humanity and utilizing our NAP Credits you can reduce your tax liability to the State of Indiana.

Home Sponsorships - Home Sponsor is an excellent way to engage your organization in the community and make a lasting difference in the lives of deserving families. 

Your Church - Churches support our ministry in a number of ways, from sponsoring a home build and volunteering to pray for our mission. 

 

More Ways to Donate:

ReStore - When upgrading your home, give us your gently used home furnishings, appliances, and supplies. Help the environment by keeping perfectly good merchandise out of the landfill. Give them a second life! Most donations are tax deductible. We also make good use of excess inventory and scratch and dent items. We can handle large donations.

The Greatest Need - With your donation directed to "The Greatest Need", you not only make a clear and powerful statement that everyone deserves an affordable and safe place to live here in Indianapolis, but you also make that a reality in a very big way. 

Employer Matching Gifts Programs - Thousands of companies, small and large, have matching gift programs which double or even triple individual, tax-deductible contributions made by their employees.

Gifts through United Way - You may designate your United Way gift to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis.

Gifts of Stock - With more than 60 percent of Americans owning securities, individuals are making stock gifts, which provide income tax deductions for the full value of the gift while avoiding the potential tax on capital gains. 

Third Party Fundraiser - Habitat for Humanity has a history of directly benefiting from third party events in the past and is a great way to get more public interest in your next event. 

Gifts of Real Estate and Property - Outright gifts of property, such as undeveloped land, or real estate, including a second home or vacation property that is not mortgaged and has appreciated in value, allows a donor to deduct the fair market value of the gift and avoid all capital gains taxes. 

Cars for Homes - Donating a car, truck, boat, RV or other vehicle is quick and easy, and your car donation may be eligible for tax deduction purposes if you itemize (consult the IRS or your tax advisor for details).

Materials and Professional Services - The generous contribution of construction materials and professional services allows Habitat for Humanity to stretch each dollar further and build more homes.
