I’m a lead on the Windows Phone Design Integration team at Microsoft. Our team implements and polishes the UI of the Windows Phone. I’ve been with the team through the release of versions 7, 7.5 (Mango) and into the future!

Comics

I’m the creator (author and artist) behind two webcomics: Thinkin’ Lincoln and Creep House. One is about floating president heads and the other is about monsters and skeletons. They’re both on indefinite hiatus right now, but I might bring them back some day.

Illustration

Sometimes I just like to draw random stuff. I once offered to draw avatars for members of a forum I used to frequent and ended up making about 70 of them. I call it my Forum Avatar Project.

Emoticons

I consider myself an emoticon enthusiast, and I like to make up new emoticons whenever the situation requires. ,':Y

Websites

I am both a graphic designer and a front-end markup developer. I can photo the shops and cascade some stylesheets with the best of ’em.

I’ve made full sites, landing pages, fancy emails, banner ads, and all kinds of stuff for the web. Check out my portfolio.

T-shirts

I’ve also designed and printed a bunch of t-shirt designs to sell over the internet, though I'm all sold out of everything at the moment. You can see those in my portfolio too.

Writing

I got my degree in English Literature and I am currently working on a novel. It's about, like, the human condition and stuff.

Babies

Though I’ll give my wife the lion’s share of the credit on this one, I did contribute in a small way to the creation of our young daughter, Svetlana. And who knows, I bet we’ll make some more!
