The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation (MHOF) supports music education and its many benefits through the donation of new and refurbished musical instruments to underserved school and community music programs and individual students nationwide.
To date, MHOF has donated $4 million worth of new and refurbished instruments to 739 music programs and individuals across the country, effectively helping over 100,000 students and hundreds of dedicated teachers. In addition, MHOF has served 89 schools in six states affected by Hurricane Katrina, donating approximately $1.5 million worth of new and refurbished instruments.
