The University of Mount Union, a private liberal arts college associated with the United Methodist Church and located in Alliance, Ohio, was experiencing ongoing success, including the transition from a College to a University. To ensure continued success and to position the institution as a University, Mount Union needed to partner with experts in Strategic Planning and Branding.

Performa Higher Education facilitated the strategic planning process with those connected to the University – trustees, faculty, staff, current students, alumni, friends and community members. Reflection on Mount Union’s strengths, core characteristics and recent success provided a solid foundation from which the institution can expand, extending beyond current accomplishments.

Building on the synergies realized through integrated consulting, Performa Higher Education conducted Market Research, including online surveys and focus groups of key constituencies, created a new Positioning Strategy and assisted the University in Creative execution.
