LBB aka Let’s Be Brief is for the discerning mind and eye. The site’s in beta mode right now, but we’re ironing out the little quirks

At LBB we celebrate curiosity, shake the hand of the analytical and do cheerleader back-flips for the masters of the visual language.

We examine, chop up, marinade and then serve up the politics of representation, the art of narrative and the power of the image.

Why? Because this sh*t matters. Critical thinking for critical times.

LBB Talent Agency

The story

On the south-facing 10th floor flat of a tower block in North London, the Let’s Be Brief baby was born. The proud parents (twenty%extra founders) Ansel Neckles and Stephanie McLaren were happy as happy could be. Both practitioners in the ‘magic arts’ of communications from advertising, fashion and the media, they developed an educational workshop that deconstructed the mechanics of branding, marketing and advertising, helping young folk to make sense of it all.

Before you knew it LBB was walking, talking and working with an of interesting mix of organisations such as LVYAP, LCRN and 4Talent on workshops & co-creation projects. Steph & Ansel continued to work with and mentor some clever, tenacious youngsters that they met along the way. Some of them interned over the summer holidays and one or two even went on get a job at twenty%extra.

Then one summer, the LBB started to grow. The LBB Crew were getting older, wiser, staying out later and generally annoying their folks. It was time for LBB to have a bit of a makeover, and after a twirl or two thousand in the mirror, trying on plenty of new kicks; LBB was looking fresher than ever, ready for the world.
