Apart from standard stainless fasteners we are well known for producing what is believed to be the strongest stainless steel bolt in the world; BUMAX®.

With roots dated as far back as 1899 – we have been manufacturing fasteners for over a century in our own production facility BUFAB Bulten Stainless. BUMAX® is a range of stainless steel fasteners with properties far beyond standard fasteners. BUMAX® is the only range of Stainless Steel fasteners with the “equivalent” strength of High tensile carbon steel fasteners. In other words BUMAX 88 and BUMAX 109 can replace 8.8 and 10.9 grades of carbon steel fasteners. We can also produce BUMAX 129 upon request, which is equivalent to grade 12.9 steel.
