Cruise Hawaii, Inter-island Destinations, Shared or Private Charters

Life. Style. Adventure ~ The Nature of Paradise

The vast Pacific Ocean surrounds the Hawaiian Island chain, bathing and lashing secluded sandy beach and quiet coves with its great circular currents and offshoot eddies, Hawaiian waters team with life, with corals and mollusks, reef fish, marine mammals and seabirds. Many of these are unique to the islands. In fact, the numbers of endemic ocean species in Hawai‘i (25% - 30%) are greater than any other Pacific island group.

Hawaii's main islands, spread farther apart than most folks envision - while short jaunts by plane, can be five - seven hours by charter boat. Cruisers know that the pleasure is in the journey, and our charters are journey-based even after we have reached the destination island. We dont go to a port and drop you off, you remain boat-based and partake in the beauty of remote shores and bays, pristine snorkeling and marine wildlfie encounters.

If you’ve “done” the big cruise ship that circles Hawaii, maybe it’s time to think smaller, personalized voyages to neighbor islands - where the big cruise ships aren't allowed. To go interisland by boat, plan on at least one overnighter.

Island hopping Hawaii, crewed power-yacht shared or private charters...

...is by nature unstructured, and a destination in itself. We are more likely to visit an ancient fishing village then a famous resort town. In fact, once we leave Honolulu, we may never see another port until our return. In part, it is the day-to-day and watch-to-watch variability of the wildlife and the environment that makes small-scale cruises so fascinating.

Your marine/wildlife biologist and expert watermen (or more likely WOmen) know the best half of Hawaii is in the water. From decades of participating in dolphin and whale research; cruising, free-diving, fishing, spearfishing or surfing Hawaiian waters; and from knowledge passed down through generations, our crew knows where to go and why.

Cruise courses can change or be extended maximizing the weather, wildlife encountered, or by your desires. Extra time can be spent kayaking sea caves, hiking, snorkeling, or on shore explorations of your choice. Or perfect the art of doing nothing. Take a nap? You bet. Read a book on deck without telemarketers calling? Absolutely. Our expertise in our own "backyard" helps you to make informed decisions on where your priorities lay.

Carefully selected sites when cruising nearshore are based on their biological, cultural, and historical significance - and your desires. Take or add a few days to your vacation to explore areas only accesible by boat...

Molokai

Molokai is not only beautiful but also full of history and culture. Hawaiian by nature, known for its quiet lifestyle and outdoor-inspired activities, visitors find serenity, empty beaches and untamed natural beauty on this undeveloped slice of paradise.

We go to Molokai for the old ways. It is important to be respectful and understanding, "ma'a," of local ways and issues. View cruise pictures from Kalaupapa and the North Shore of Molokai.

Lanai

Lanai also offers great snorkeling spots, has it's own spinner dolphin population and is frequently visited by offshore marine mammals (often the same ones or related to the ones we see on Oahu).. Known as Hawaii’s Most Enticing Island, Lanai is ideal for those desiring a secluded, private getaway and is bordered by the oceanic wildlife rich Penguin Banks.

Maui

Maui fondly called The Magic Isle, has been named “Best Island in the World” for 14 consecutive years by readers of Conde Nast Traveler. Maui is home to intriguing assortment of natural wonders, ranging from massive Haleakala Crater, the world’s largest dormant volcano, to quaintly remote Hana, with intriguing seabird sanctuary islets.

Kauai & Niihau

Oahu

Swim and snorkel among the sea turtles, dolphins, and marine life close to ancient coral reefs on Oahu’s Westside. Dolphin encounters, whale watching (including giant hump back whales), protected sea turtle experiences, and more. You might even see some Hawaiian monk seals during your excursion or have a chance to see and interact underwater with the Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins. These adventures will provide memories to last forever.

"In today's world, we are always shocked at how much we see in this type of setting - millions of stars we never knew existed suddenly shine as if they could light an entire city. The Milky Way is sprawled across the sky, leaving no doubt as to why people before us called it that." Hina Adventures

Due to our popularity and limited group sizes, cancellations with less than 10 day notice and "No Shows" are subject to full charge.
