On April 2, 2012 the City Council awarded the 2012 Street Improvement Project to Sternquist Construction. The project consists of 22 blocks of street and driveway approach replacements throughout the community with additional sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer improvements throughout the project as well.
Sternquist Construction intends to begin the project April 23, 2012, along the North E Street corridor between Detroit and Girard and then will proceed on to North and South D Street between Highway 92 and West Clinton Avenue. A complete construction schedule is not available at this time. The estimated completion time for the entire project is December 2012.
