British Wildlife Photography Awards 2010

About the British Wildlife Photography Awards

The British Wildlife Photography Awards were established to recognise the talents of wildlife photographers working in the UK, while at the same time highlighting the great wealth and diversity of Britain’s natural history.

With 2010 being International Year of Biodiversity, the Awards hope to raise awareness of the fragile state of British wildlife and biodiversity, and what we could do to encourage and protect it.

Unlike other wildlife photography competitions, the Awards are uniquely British, with all of the images taken of British animals in their natural habitats.
