Who is Team Crazed Carrots?

Team Crazed Carrots, a Connecticut based Destination Imagination (DI) Team comprised of six homeschooled children ranging in age from 8 to 11, won their division at the State Tournament held at Connecticut College, New London, CT on Saturday, March 23, 2012. The team will compete at a Global DI Tournament held at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, May 23 – 27, 2012 against teams not only from the United States, but from around the world!

We are thrilled to have this opportunity but it comes at quite a cost;  $5,000 plus travel expenses, food and lodging.  We are hoping to raise this money through generous online gifts.

What is Destination Imagination?

Destination Imagination is an extraordinary non-profit organization that reaches over 125,000 children in the United States and operates in more than 30 countries worldwide. The teams select open-ended challenges and present their solutions at a Tournament, where they are evaluated on creativity, teamwork, quick thinking and effective problem solving. The skills children acquire through DI are applicable to any problem solving situation. These children are future leaders and thinkers. Their creativity is boundless!
