The Bearded Man Speaks Brimfield Antique Show 2012 Wrap-up: These buying trips are like the Super Bowl to us, so it takes a while to get off the high when we win. Winning is finding the stuff we were looking for and also finding the surprises and unknown. Special thanks to everyone who who made this trip possible. On our last day in Massachusetts we decided to drive up to Boston to say hello to Bobby,Kristen and the entire Bobby From Boston crew. It’s always good to catch up with them and spin around Boston. The BKc SF + StyleForum 10YR Anniversary wrap-up: What an eventful week-end/Beginning we had in San Francisco, from our friend Bianca’s Fashion Showcase at the beautiful Clift Hotel on Thursday to the Art MurMur in Oakland on Friday night to Monday night front row at Drake’s concert with surprise guest Lil’ Wayne to backstage with The Weeknd and the XO crew at The legendary Fillmore Auditorium on Tuesday night. (Thank you to everyone that helped make us feel extra special, you know who you are!). But what really helped kick this all off in style (pun intended) is StyleForum’s 10 Year Anniversary event on Saturday. Fok and The StyleForum company put together a wonderful series of events at the W Hotel in San Francisco starting on Friday and although we couldn’t capture All the fun, we had our handy photogs right there with us snapping away. Bay Area Friday Night Lights…
Bay Area Friday Night Lights: Meanwhile back in San Francisco, as soon as Gabe the Great touched down in the Bay, the SF Team and him got right to work. Starting with prepping for a BKc presentation at Oakland’s Art MurMur – a monthly Art Collective Event in downtown Oakland. Before the SF team headed out to Oakland, they stopped by the W Hotel for StyleForums launch event where they were screening O’Mast- a film about Neapolitan Tailoring with director/producer Gianluca Migliarotti. Brimfield Antique Show 2012 Day 3 . . .
Brimfield Antique Show 2012 Day 3 of what feels like a never ending dream of Antique and vintage heaven but of course another rainy morning- never stops any Brimfield vendor or buyer. Around this time of the year, the weather is normally either rainy or gloomy, either way a tad bit wet. We do welcome the rainy season more than we welcome the extreme heat during the July Brimfield show, if you have to miss any one of the three shows, make it the July show. We journeyed off into our normal routine of breakfast at Te Brown Cow and then off to catch whatever show opens that day.
We are pretty excited to report that we did really well today, with tomorrow being our last day in Springfield and possibly Brimfield. We have plans to head over to Boston to spend the day with Bobby, Kristen and the team over at Bobby From Boston. More rain tomorrow and of course more fields opening up and allot more shopping to be done, if it’s called for, nothing forced. If we don’t find anything tomorrow, we’ll be totally fine with what we gathered so far. Stay tuned for a full wrap up and more detailed updates, our brain is calling for rest.
