spacer ITPI Consulting Co-op Overview

The Consulting Co-operative is designed for consulting professionals serving the IT industry who seek to differentiate themselves from their competitors. Membership in the Co-op offers enhanced access to a unique, alternative source of information and data to be utilized to support client engagements. This program empowers you to better serve your clients by providing unique, data-driven advice and prescriptive guidance, which you can utilize to guide them in their pursuit of exceptional IT performance.

The ITPI uses data from broad sets of IT organizations to better understand how top-performing IT organizations achieve superior performance. Our data-driven "boil the ocean” approach is designed to identify specific practices that have the biggest impact on performance. Our research and benchmarking tools highlight the differences between top, medium and low performing IT organizations, allowing you to compare your clients’ operations and formulate the best strategy for operational improvement. As a result, our hard-data content becomes a powerful addition to your portfolio of tools and services that you may use with your clients.

We modeled our Consulting Co-operative on research consortia common to other industries. Our shared-cost model allows you to share the cost and the benefits of studying how top-performing IT organizations address key operational issues while improving the utility and marketability and relevance of your services.

Co-op member benefits include:

  • Preferred pricing on research and benchmark packages - We combine and co-brand these comprehensive, easy-to-use diagnostic tools and make them available to you at for use as client deliverables.
  • Research Participation - Active members are encouraged to help direct our research agenda and may participate and be identified as a contributor in research studies.
  • Visibility and Support - Your firm is highlighted as a member of the ITPI consulting Co-op, which includes visibility on the ITPI Website as well as use rights for ITPI branded marketing materials for your own sales and promotional efforts.
  • Limited Competition - If everyone knows what you know, there is no competitive advantage. Membership is limited based upon your firm’s size, focus and geographic location.

Our data and deliverables have been tested and implemented with over 50 clients globally and are utilized by our own Charter Members as well, which is how we’ve come to recognize how valuable these same resources can be for your business.

If you would like more information or would like to be considered for Co-op membership, fill out an application below or request a call. Once we receive your completed application, we will contact you to discuss the program and your business in greater detail.
