The interaction of the Frelon® material and the shafting creates a natural, microscopic transfer of the Frelon® to the running surface. A thin film is deposited on the shaft, and the valleys in the surface finish are filled in with Frelon® material during the initial break-in period. This transfer creates the self-lubricating condition of Frelon® riding on Frelon®.
 
     Simplicity™ FrelonGOLD® self-lubricating technology was adapted to
     different profiles and configurations to form the Gliding Surface Technology.

Low Profile Mini-Rail (LPM)

The low cost Low Profile (LPM) mini-rail linear guide comes available in 4 different sizes (up to 5 meters in length) and is the perfect solution for compact low friction motion in the medical, office furniture, packaging, and automation industries.

 

The Low Profile Mini-Rail is composed of low cost polymer slider with molded stainless steel thread inserts and anodized aluminum rails. In addition to usual applications for inexpensive, smooth operating, low profile, slides and rails, LPM is ideal in harsh environments with operating temperatures between -35C and 65C (-30F to 150F). LPM is also applicable where lubricants, fuels, dyes, or weak acids are present—making LPM an economical solution for low-profile linear motion in a wide variety of industries.

Square Bearing Linear Slides

Outfitted with proven Simplicity® self-lubricating technology, PBC Linear’s Square Bearings enjoy the same long-lasting benefits as their linear bearing cousins. Square Bearings provide a high load and speed capacity allowing for use in a wide variety of applications. They are also extremely durable. Shock vibration, extreme heat or cold, and contamination DO NOT effect the performance of these bearings.

Essential for maintaining radial integrity while still providing effective linear motion, Square Bearings come in a variety of sizes and can be mounted in any orientation. Running along a single square shaft eliminates costly components and provides a low wear rate—making PBC Lienar’s Square Bearings an economical and long-lasting linear motion solution.

Mini-Rail™ Plane Rail System delivers tough linear motion in demanding applications from semi-conductor wafer handling to packaging equipment.

 

PBC Linear’s Mini-Rail ™ consists of an aluminum carriage with Simplicity™ FrelonGOLD® self-lubricating liners and precision manufactured rails with reference edge available in ceramic coated or clear anodized aluminum to provide smooth and effective linear motion.

Mini-Rail’s™ simple, but effective two-piece design allows for fast installation. The product requires no sealing, tolerates high temperature (-240C to +240 C), and will not catastrophically fail! The Mini-Rail™'s small size is ideal for confined spaces and is an economical alternative to and fully interchangeable with conventional miniature linear guides.

Precision Series: Ceramic coated rails and carriages are corrosion resistant. FrelonGold® self-lubricating liner delivers the best overall performance, the highest loads, the best wear life, and speeds. Most precise running clearance for medium precision applications.

Compensated Precision Series: Offers the same quality long-lasting linear motionas Precision Series (above) except with additional clearance provided to tolerate misalignment.

PBC Linear’s MS and LS system takes the proven Mini-Rail technology and adds a lead screw (LS) or motor drive (MS). The LS and MS systems offer corrosion resistance, and virtually no added grease or oil—providing a perfect environment for medical, food processing, and clean room applications.

Raise Quality and Lower Costs with Uni-Guide

The Uni-Guide—formerly Dolphin Guide—has come a long way since its creation in 1995. Armed with a lightweight aluminum structure, versatile applications, and a redesigned production process to lower costs, the PBC Linear Uni-guide provides the perfect solution to many different applications. Previous costs for the Uni-Guide were significantly higher, but due to PBC Linear integrating two new FMS machines, which allow for 24/7 manufacturing.

spacer Comprised of a simple two piece assembly, the Uni-Guide can drop into most applications with easy installation and use. The bottom of the slide is keyed for precision alignment to increase accuracy. The rail and carriage composition is a lightweight anodized aluminum. The carriage is self-lubricating with a patented PBC Linear FrelonGOLD® liner to create an extreme environment-tolerable design and allows particulates to be wiped harmlessly off the shaft.

The greatest feature the Uni-Guide offers is its versatility. With a wide range of customizable options, the Uni-Guide can be applied to a plethora of industries. Recently unveiled at the IWF show in Atlanta, GA, these customized options include several different locking vices and conveyors. Driven by ball screw, lead screw, or motor, the Uni-Guide is a light-weight, low cost linear motion guide with a history of quality performance.
