spacer Olympus introduces new clinical microscopy software labSens
Olympus has today introduced labSens – a complete documentation package for clinical and research imaging. The software provides a workflow-oriented user interface, ensuring that the key functions for digital imaging, analysis and documentation are clearly presented and easy-to-use. This is achieved by seamlessly combining the new Olympus BX3 clinical microscopes with digital imaging cameras, as well as automation components, to provide the perfect conduit between the user, the process and the microscope system. spacer More

spacer Built by your needs: Olympus introduces the new BX3 Research Microscope Systems
Olympus has launched the new BX3 upright research microscope system, which delivers unmatched adaptability at all levels. Following on from the highly successful BX2 range, the BX3 systems provide users with a “blank canvas” to fully define their own working environment: from the microscope and imaging components to software workflows, GUIs and the positioning of the controls on the desktop. The manual BX53 frame offers complete system flexibility with optional coded and automated modules and the BX63 frame provides advanced automation as standard. As a result, the Olympus BX3 microscopes combine perfectly with imaging modules, cameras and the cellSens software programmes to enable users to build a system intimately designed to their specific needs. spacer More

spacer Adaptable microscopy systems set new standards in ergonomics and efficiency - the new BX3 Clinical Microscope Range
Olympus has launched the new BX3 range of upright clinical microscopes featuring the BX43 system microscope and the BX46 ergonomic screening microscope. As with the highly successful BX2 range, the BX3 clinical microscopes incorporate the advanced Olympus UIS2 optical components and are uniquely adaptable, ensuring the ultimate level of imaging flexibility and ergonomic operation. In combination with numerous motorisation and contrast options, intuitive labSens software and the Olympus digital-imaging camera range, the BX3 microscopes are digital documentation and future-lab-ready, enabling your microscope system to adapt in line with your changing and growing workflow requirements. spacer More

spacer Olympus VS110 wins two awards at the first European Scanner Contest
Olympus has won two awards at the first European Scanner Contest, which took place from the 25th – 29th May in Berlin, running in parallel with the 94th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Pathology and the 10th Pathology Federal Meeting. The Olympus VS110-S5 competed against five slide scanner vendors to secure two of the three awards within the quality category: scanning mixed slides at 20x and 40x (0.16 µm). This success highlights its ability to accurately image three pre-determined diagnostically relevant regions of interest (ROI) in ten different slides.

spacer Olympus Introduces Unique All-in-One Microscope Family
Olympus has introduced the all-in-one FSX100 fluorescence and FluoView FV10i confocal laser scanning microscope systems to enable even the most inexperienced users to create high-end research images. The all-in-one microscopes are designed to remove all of the complex steps involved in setting-up and using advanced fluorescence and confocal microscopes, ensuring that users can concentrate on the images and data without any prior expertise in the control of the numerous microscope components involved. spacer More

spacer New LightManager and Nosepiece Encoder modules for greater efficiency - Expanded Functionality for Olympus BX2 Microscopes
Olympus has introduced the exciting new LightManager module for its BX41 and BX51 upright microscopes. The highly intuitive Olympus LightManager can be retrofitted and enables the user to set the desired illumination intensities for each objective and technique in use. This ensures more efficient control over objectives and illumination, providing excellent imaging results. spacer More
