Camp Odyssey, a week-long teen camp that builds bridges across cultural differences, ran successfully for 12 years through the 1980-90′s. Positively impacted by their camp experience, several camp alumni approached Oregon Solutions to create a sustainable governance structure for Camp Odyssey to ensure its long-term success.
The Camp Odyssey/Oregon Solutions team is led by co-conveners Margaret Carter and Tom Fuller. The team established five committees to develop a camp governance structure: 1. Recruitment; 2. Camp Location; 3. Business Plan; 4. Outreach Strategies and; 5. Program Evaluation.
Team members successfully completed a business plan and governance structure to support Camp Odyssey in the future. The Declaration of Cooperation was signed in March, 2012
