Strategic design consultancy Q LTD is pleased to announce that Dan Klyn has rejoined the firm as Vice President of Information Architecture and Engineering.

"After Dan left in 2005, all of our clients and colleagues around the world missed him very much," said Tom Rieke, Q LTD president. "And we're celebrating his return."

Mr. Klyn brings over 12 years of experience with design, production, architecture, and engineering for the Web. A ALA-certified librarian (Wayne State, MLIS, '99), he has worked with a wide range of clients, including: AAA, ACM, Allmusic.com, American Girl, Artistry, Brookstone, Cal State University Los Angeles, FoodTV, UofM's Ross School of Business, Scripps Networks, Seagate, SIGGRAPH, Time-Life, Waterford Crystal and world-famous folk music venue, The Ark.

In addition to consulting work with clients nationwide, he teaches the information architecture courses at the University of Michigan's School of Information and at Wayne State University's Graduate Department of Library and Information Science.

Most recently, he was Information Architect at Fry, Inc., working with a variety of online retailers.

"Re-joining my Q colleagues after an 18-month stint doing IA for major online retailers is very exciting," said Klyn. "The mandate I've been given in terms of growing and enhancing Q's capabilities in the areas of information architecture and search engine strategy, web analytics, and web software engineering will be a boon to all of Q's clients and collaborators.
