What does it mean to seek Christ in a world where we are in echo-chambers of our own making?

The first stage in Hacking Christianity is breaking the barriers to entry. But what about the content itself? How can we present the content of the Gospel in such a way that it invites a closer look and transforms from the moment we touch it?

There are two ways Hacking Christianity seeks to address this:

  1. Many of the “hacks” we discuss are subtle tweaks or alterations of Christian church communication and presentation that yield results.
  2. There’s an important and unique subsection of Hacking Christianity called affectionately “The Nerd Gospel.” Basically, it takes nerdy subjects and relates Christian concepts to them.  There are many nerds out there in the world, and it may be helpful that a nerd pastor would offer a word of grace that makes sense to their culture.

Ultimately, it could be enough that we remove barriers to the Christian system and render it accessible to the culture around us. It could be enough. But just as Christ did not birth his movement in isolation but called more to the task, so also must we build the network for the task ahead and suffer together in community.
