John Milanoski & Tom Shadyac

Posted on July 9, 2011 by John Milanoski

I was able to catch up with Tom Sahdyac. He was the producer of “Ace Ventura Pet Detective”, “The Nutty Professor”, “Liar Liar” “Bruce Almighty” and many others!

He has a great message that we can all get behind. I am, and I hope you will too!
Tom has recently produced I AM! Why do I think this is significant to you? In this film Tom steps in front of the camera to recount what happened to him after a cycling accident left him incapacitated, possibly for good.

Note from John:

[ This is where I remind you that you DO NOT need a catastrophe / death or significant challenge to wake up!… you can decide to do that NOW before life is over… While you are alive and able to live on purpose ] The things (Stuff) you are chasing, is a diversion from a great life. In my opinion, Tom achieved the top (what he thought was the top) it was fortunate that he did it at an early age and was able to have life left to get back to what is important. Most people waste a whole life trying to achieve what they “think” (usually driven by the outside world by comparisonitis) is important only to find out it’s not important. Problem is… THERE IS NO REWIND! That precious time of life is gone. Some people never achieve at all and die a lonely life of regret.

FYI, Tom produced the following films that grossed over 2 Billion Dollars. "Ace ventura", "Nutty Professor", "Liar Liar", "Patch Adams, Dragonfly", "Accepted, Evan Almighty", "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry".

I propose this thought to YOURSELF… If you were lying on your death bed… What do you think would be important to you? Those are the things you should enhance and focus on now! Just my 2 cents!

Though Tom ultimately recovered, he emerged with a new sense of purpose, determined to share his own awakening to his prior life of excess and greed, and to investigate how he as an individual, and we as a race, could improve the way we live and walk in the world.

Make sure you watch his clip below this image

Respectfully with all my heart,
John Milanoski

I understand we all need to have money to live, within reason.  What I am suggesting is that you strive to achieve abundance in all areas and once you take care of your own needs, begin to find ways to help others.  Of course, The Company I founded for all of us to take part in this potential because it encompasses both aspects simultaneously.  Your success is proportionate to the number of others you help!  The ultimate value proposition.  We set the equation right, Value FIRST!  I believe that most of us, once our primary necessities and needs are met will begin to do bigger things that will help the world!  Most people are so caught up in trying to GET that they never realize all the ways they can GIVE.  Givers will have a great life and TCA makes it natural.  One by one, we can make a massive difference.

I do a lot of speaking to large organizations.  Recently, I was speaking to my own organization and of course they were looking for details, some of which I could not provide simply because there were factors that were unknown.  Things I could shape and interact with but did not necessarily control.  I do my best to avoid too much speculation, I like results!

As I spoke, someone said, “its a bunch of rah rah”.  I thought to myself…  well that is true! It is rah rah!  What the heck is wrong with that?  On the day everything is running perfect and all the challenges are out of the way, what kept you going when it was tough and unknown and what will you have to talk about?  it will hopefully be RAH RAH!

I then thought, wait a minute.  The people that changed the world the most delivered a tremendous amount of Rah Rah.

John F Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Anthony Robbins, Napolean Hill, W. Clement stone, The Greatest Coaches, The Greatest Heroes of History….  It is where fact, Philosophy and inspiration all come together!  WE all need a little inspiration and reminder about our potential.  If there is going to be change, there will be Rah Rah and this is especially true when it involves numbers of people.  Just because you know something, doesn’t mean everyone knows it!  give those around you a chance to learn and be inspired.  The things they know may be unknown to you too!

Shine: The Entrepreneur’s Journey

SHINE is a collaborative film project produced by BIZNIK.com, an online networking community for micro business owners and solopreneurs. The project began on May 6, 2009 when 12 video crews and over 400 entrepreneurs gathered in Seattle’s largest film production studio to share why they work long hours, for low pay, facing great uncertainty.

The film combines compelling stories from the event, and interviews with academics, celebrated researchers (like Scott Shane author of Illusions of Entrepreneurship), and entrepreneurial superlatives (like Bruce Livingstone, founder of iStockphoto, acquired by Getty Images for $50M).

The result presents the larger story about entrepreneurship in an economy where 90 percent of all new jobs are created by small, entrepreneur-driven businesses.

Small business is the heartbeat of America. We all need to pull together and support, strengthen and build that portion of America! This is like Cardio Fitness for America! It will take the realization and agreement that we are all connected and it is time we all take responsibility for our part and BE ACCOUNTABLE! You do make a difference. Every little bit counts.

If you want a better quality of life and a great comminity, city, state, country to live in… then do your part to support local!

Respectfully and nudgingly,

John Milanoski

Independent America – [ Full Movie ]

You may or may not realize how tough it has been for small businesses across the country.

Two former network news journalists who have just finished production on their own road movie across the United States. More than ever it seems like it’s Independent America vs. Corporate Chain store America. On this journey they searched for those pressure points along with their Black lab Miles, in some of the most scenic, least traveled corners of the country. They endeavored to make their 55-day trip without setting one tire on an interstate highway – without setting one foot inside a corporate chain restaurant, motel or store.

As you watch this, think of things you can do to make a difference. It is important to your way of life and future generations that you do make a stand!

Respectfully,
John Milanoski
