Birthdays have been known to be the one time of the year that a person can feel special. On this day, people blow their candle sand makes their happy birthday wishes in the hope that they would come true on their day. Birthday wishes are what keep people hoping that on their very lucky day, something very lucky may happen. Of course, the essence of a birthday is all about thanksgiving. But it wouldnt hurt if someone wished for something.

Children are quite fortunate on their birthdays because they of all people get what they want on their birthdays. They have shallow needs that are much cheaper than an adults which is why many kids get what they want. Children want toy cars that cost less than $5 but an adult would have higher demands such as a real car that costs over $50,000. As what we have observed, an adult rarely gets what he wants on birthdays, but thats no excuse to be unhappy. The happiness of a birthday wish is not based on getting what you want, in the adult world; it is based on how happy you are that you deserved it. As a famous saying goes, “you cant always get what you want, but sometimes if you try your best, you might just get what you need.”
