spacer Welcome to Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP)'s website. We are a group of students, faculty, and community members working together at the University of California, Berkeley, in solidarity with the struggle of the indigenous Palestinian people against apartheid and occupation. In addition to organizing protests, memorials, and other events that attempt to visualize the Palestinian struggle, we organize frequent educational events that give a voice to the Palestinian narrative as well as highlight the plight of the Palestinian people under Israeli aggression.

We invite you to take full advantage of the resources on our website to learn more about the situation in Palestine and Israel. For your convenience, we have compiled a Key Issues page that summarizes a number of the many factors that play a role in this conflict, including the Palestinian refugees and their right to return, the role that violence plays in the area, as well as information regarding the failure of recent peace initiatives. On the News Watch page, we will periodically post links to news and analysis regarding current events in Palestine and Israel. At the same time we will post about our activities on campus and in the Bay Area on our Blog. Check back frequently to stay up to date on our activities as well as developments in Palestine and Israel.
