Training

We offer courses open to the public on every aspect and role of Scrum. Led by the co-creator of Scrum, Dr. Jeff Sutherland, our training team provides courses that are far more than rote instruction and rule-following. We empower people, expose them to the latest and most advanced thinking on Agile theory and practice, give them both the philosophy and research behind the invention and evolution of Scrum, and share the hard won practical skills you will use everyday. We can also provide a private course tailored to your organization’s unique needs. And we offer workshops for Senior Leadership to educate them on the powerful business case for Scrum, and to teach them how to lead an Agile company.

Find the right course for your needs.

Consulting and Coaching

But we don’t stop with training your team, we engage with your company at every level, from product vision, to senior management, to the complete transformation of your organization. We’ve helped companies from Fortune 100 firms to brand new startups fulfill their transformational goals. We offer assessments of your company’s individual situation, whether you are brand new to Scrum or are trying to move to the next level. We can provide coaching on site, or remotely to help your teams and your leadership implement Agile practices at every level of your organization.

We also can help you shape and sharpen your strategic thinking to explicitly link Agile to your competitive strategy. The marketplace is changing and the competition is getting faster, are you?

Publications

Scrum Inc. not only engages with Agile practitioners and students on a daily basis, but we are a center for the latest thinking on Scrum, Agile practices, management and production. We regularly publish scientific papers in the leading journals, release case studies on remarkable successes and the trickiest of problems, and publish books for the neophyte, the practitioner, and the seasoned professional.

The Standish Group, in it’s Chaos Manifesto 2011, says ”The agile process is the universal remedy for software development project failure.”

According to their research, conducted between 2002 and 2010, only 14% of projects developed using Waterfall methods succeeded and 29% failed. Agile methods, mostly Scrum, delivered success 42% of the time, and failure only 9% of the time.
