Providing Excellence in Total Family Ministry

Dear Families:

Following is a brief description of one mother’s life:

“Eons before He entered your thoughts, God had you on His mind, holding you dear to His heart.

The Lord peered down through eternity, lovingly orchestrating your destiny with exact, flawless detail.

Yes, so very long ago, He sees you as a newborn baby; then, that barefoot little farm girl in western Illinois.

A couple of decades go by, and there you stand with the husband of your dreams: God’s wonderful design for your life keeps unfolding.

Within a handful of years, you are blessed to become the mother of a handful of children … six of them!

But, no, His amazing plan does not end there. Many grandchildren, even great-children, come forth as God’s special gifts to your growing family.

Now, with earthly time continuing to pass, here you are – the matriarch of a family – dearly cherished and highly esteemed.

We love you, Mom!”

This was originally written as a special gift to my mother several years ago (she has since gone on to Glory). In my eyes, she was the best “mom” in the whole, wide world!

Happy Mother’s Day 2012 to all our moms,
