What is a Cuddle Party?

Cuddle Party is a playful social event designed for adults to explore communication, boundaries and affection. You can come to a Cuddle Party to meet new people, to enjoy amazing conversations, to touch, to be touched, to have fun, to practice asking for what you want, to practice saying “no” to what you don’t want — all in a setting structured to be a safe place for exploration and enjoyment. You can even come to a Cuddle Party just to cuddle!

About the Organization

Cuddle Party is a federally recognized non-profit educational organization. Its Board of Directors trains and certifies new Cuddle Party Facilitators and supports the network of Certified Cuddle Party Facilitators through this website, ongoing training and development opportunities and more. We are committed to creating and maintaining safe and fun opportunities for people to learn about boundaries, communication, affection and non-sexual touch. We love what we do!

About the Creators

The brainchild of two relationship coaches, Reid Mihalko and Marcia Baczynski, Cuddle Party was conceived in Feburary 2004. Since then, they and others have sought to bring clean, safe, welcomed affection to the world through these events. In addition to running Cuddle Parties, they each offer workshops, training and coaching in the areas of relationships, communication, sex and romance. Marcia currently serves on the Board of Directors. Reid has moved on to other projects and no longer serves on the Board.
