Both of the Congresses are going ahead as scheduled, and we will be keeping you up to date with tips and updates so the trip is as easy on you as possible.
For now, check your visa and passport. Put them in a safe place and then tell someone where you put it (or e-mail the info to yourself). Be sure you have the Yellow Book and the necessary shots.
And visit the Dakar website frequently so you can get the news updates about speakers, the programme and countless other bits of info.
Whether you are coming or not, social media will be a large presence at the Congress and we look forward to your participation - however indirect. Tweets and hashtags, Facebook updates and the, hopefully, constant uploading of images. All for your edification and amusement.
