Gripped Into Books Reviews CROSSED

Gripped Into Books … We’re at where Macthed left off. With Cassia journeying to the outer provinces whilst Ky is taken by the society. As you can expect, the chapters are alternated between Cassia and Ky. With them both craving for each others presence alongside them and going through adventures of their own. Oh, I just really really liked it.

We get to see a lot more from Ky. When reading Matched I never really connected much with Ky and as a character, I never did like him much. I don’t know. He came off quite weird? Well, to me anyways. Though, in Crossed my views changed as we get to see more of him and his feelings as well.

I didn’t think Ky was right for Cassia. I was always with Xander through Matched anyways. But, here’s the thing. In Crossed, we get to see more of Xander. Which leads to my other point in which, can Xander be trusted? He’s quite different now and I don’t know what to make of his actions.

Now, I’m torn between the two. Pretty much how Cassia is at the moment. In one prospect, I do blame her, she chooses Ky but then she’s confused with everything that’s happened with Xander. Good luck on that one!

In the bigger picture, a lot does happens in Crossed. New characters are introduced as to be expected and the events are really developing. What I like best. Ohh now I can’t wait to readReached!

Books Galore Loved Every Second of Matched

Books Galore … I fell in love with Ky right in the beginning. Cassie and Ky are not supposed to be Matched it was a mistake from the society, she is supposed to be with Xander. Cassie has to face the decision of her best friend or Ky who she can’t be with. It would be hard to be in her feet, as she has two wonderful guys to pick from but with one she can never be seen with. I loved Cassie, from her personality, to her heart.

Ally Condie has a way of drawing you in to her book. I loved every second of it. I could really relate to some of the characters in some ways. I hope you all give this series a try, you will not be disappointed by what you will find. That is why I rated the book a 4 out of 5 for this catching read.

Ally Condie Comes Close To Perfect with Crossed

Sam Cushion … This whole book is just amazing. If you thought Matched was good just wait until you read Crossed. The search for The Rising and the events and story that unfolds as you read is nothing short of breathtaking. The aspect of people trying to preserve history and art is something that really stands out to me. I love that. There is one scene in particular that I cried like a baby, and it takes a lot to get my to cry. This book is not a fast pace action book but it isn’t a slow moving love story either. It moves along at just the right speed and keeps you intrigued the whole time. I don’t like to say anything is perfect because nothing is but Ally Condie sure has come as close as you can with Crossed.

Thoughts of A Scot Reviews Crossed

Thoughts of A Scot… This book was half Cassia’s POV and half Ky’s, I really liked Ky’s narrative. We learn a lot more about his background and how he ended up in Oria as a Markham. Crossed carries on from Matched quite nicely and the story progresses at a nice pace. The good thing about both Cassia and Ky’s POV is the back stories come out more, we also get a little bit of background on Xander from Ky as he knows something Cassia doesn’t. I especially like that there’s some conflict regarding Ky, Cassia and Xander – everything’s not as crystal clear as it seems.

MATCHED is a book A WORLD OF WORDS would Recommend

A World of Words… I definitely recommend this book to dystopian lovers and Hunger Games lovers as well. There’s just something about dystopian novels that are just so intriguing because they mainly take place in the future, the very distant future, and we get to see how much the world has evolved. Like I said, it’s just me since I was mainly looking for the romance and it doesn’t pop up until way later, but it depends on you. I’m definitely going to be reading the next book and I hope you will give this book a shot! (:

Thank you for reading my review and I hope you enjoyed it! I’ve been definitely lacking and I recently got a netgalley account and I got denied the arcs I wanted and I realized that I needed to have more reviews on my blog then maybe next time I will be granted one, so I’m definitely going to be reviewing more! Until next time!
