Apply to Tiffin University

We are excited that you have chosen Tiffin University.  Now, you need to submit your application.  Here are the simple steps that will lead you through the process.

  • In order to complete your application for admission, first select your student type.
  • Create an account, login and complete the application.  With this account, you will be able to track your application status and receive critical information about your specific interests, and your application status.
  • When you are finished filling out the application, make sure to click the submit button at the bottom of the page.
  • After submitting the application, please contact your guidance counselor to send or fax us your high school transcripts and test scores.  Once we receive these items, our Admissions Committee will be able to make a decision on your application.

All application fees are waived if you submit your application over the internet with our online forms. Choose the different online applications below:

Freshman and Transfer Students
(On Campus in Tiffin, Ohio Only)

A student is considered a freshman or traditional transfer when they are:

  • A U.S. permanent resident.
  • Interested in pursuing a Bachelor's degree while taking seated classes on the Tiffin Campus.
  • Recently graduated or currently completing high school, or
  • A student who is transferring to Tiffin University directly from another college or university.

Online and Off-Campus Programs

The Online and Off-Campus programs is for students looking to complete their degree either online or at one of our off-campus locations throughout the state of Ohio. Programs are offered in Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Criminal Justice.

Graduate Degree Program

Students who take university courses towards a graduate degree are considered graduate students.  Please complete the Application for Graduate Admissions.

Graduate Certificate Program

Tiffin University designed certificate programs for working professionals who wish to enhance their professional knowledge, skills, and leadership abilities.  The practical, flexible and learner-centered curriculum is offered completely online with no residency requirement.  To apply, please complete the Graduate Certificate Application for Admissions

Adult Learner Program

An adult student is someone who:

  • Has been out of high school for over 5 years.
  • Is interested in pursuing a  Bachelor's or Associate's degree while taking seated classes on the Tiffin Campus.

Non-Degree &Transient Students

Students who take university courses full time or part time without pursuing a degree at Tiffin University are considered non-degree students.  A student is considered a transient student if he/she is taking one or more courses to transfer credit to another college or university.  Please complete the Non-Degree Application.
