How do I make a return and get a refund?

See this page - Making a return. Refunds are processed the next business day following our review of the returned item - usually 3 - 5 business days. We will issue a credit to the credit card you used for payment. See our returns policy page.

where do i get the drivers for my peripheral device?

spacer Drivers are small pieces of software that allow the peripheral device (printer, all-in-one, GPS device, etc.) to communicate with the PC's operating system. Despite some widely held beliefs, the cabling manufacturer companies don't create these software programs. It is the maker of the peripheral devices (HP, Lexmark, etc.) that write and produce drivers. The cables are simply conduits that have the ends that allow the PC (or laptop) to connect to the peripheral device. All this to say, your best bet is to go to the web site of the maker of your peripheral device and look for the driver that allows your external device to connect to your PC (or laptop) with the operating system you are using.

what cable do i use to go from my PC's parallel port to my usb printer?

spacer There is not a cable made for this purpose. Best suggestion is to install a USB card (or PCMCIA card for a laptop), then use a USB A/B cable to complete the connection to your USB printer.

Can I use the USB to parallel cable on my mac?

spacer No. The reason is Macs are built to use USB to USB. Therefore, printer manufacturers (HP, Lexmark, Brother,  etc.) rarely develop drivers for Mac USB to Centronics (parallel) connections.

what are the shipping costs?

Shipping is free for purchases over $100.00. Actual cost is based upon shipping method selected and distance from our shipping location (Western South Carolina or Southern California). Expedited shipping costs are found on our shipping page.

usb cable Information....

spacer The maximum length any standard USB cable is rated for, without amplification, is 15 feet. There are stories of people using several  extenders to reach up to 40 feet but USB.org (site has all the White Papers, etc.) notes there could be significant data loss doing this.
We strongly discourage using more than 15 feet for a passive extension cable. The best recommendation would be to use one of our Active Extension 16 foot USB Repeater Cables. These cables may be connected serially for lengths up to 80 feet. Data traffic is buffered to assure signal quality. Use the Active Extension cable coming from the PC or PC hub and use one of our USB A/B cables to complete the connection to the peripheral device. The Active Extensions have A/A ends so they may be linked serially in a chain. Peripheral devices have a "B" receptacle (female port about 3/8" square) so you will need an A/B cable at the end of the chain to connect to the peripheral device.
A new product has been released that will allow users to now reach devices up to 150 feet away! See the Ultimate USB Extension packages.
