Celebrate 250 Welcomes You!

Charlottesville has a big birthday this year--- the 250th anniversary of our founding back in 1762.
Join with the entire community in this special year of birthday hoopla and historical remembrance.

Celebrate250 honors the rich tapestry of generations that built Charlottesville,
involving our diverse community of interests, cultures and backgrounds in building our new story.

Plan to attend the inaugural Festival of History, along with the November Gala and
over 50 partnering events and special monthly happenings like First Fridays.
