The Alpes-Maritimes department is part of the French Riviera and located between the Var department and Italy. In this department, there are beach resorts but also ski resorts – Isola 200, Auron, Valberg – so that tourists can enjoy both activities. First, one can have a walk on the famous Croisette in Cannes where the Film Festival takes place and one the Promenade des Anglais in Nice.
