Rumpke Recycling offers customers a comprehensive list of acceptable recyclables to maximize waste diversion and enhance the recycling effort. Acceptable materials may vary by location.
In general, the following types of materials are acceptable in Rumpke Recycling's residential programs. Please click each category for specific items:

Paper: newspaper, magazines, cardboard, computer paper, junk mail, envelopes, catalogs, cereal and dry food boxes, telephone books.

Plastic bottles/jugs from soda, milk, sport drinks, water, laundry detergent, contact solution, shampoo/conditioner, juice (lids are OK if left on empty bottle)

Cans (aluminum & steel) from beverages, food, soup

Glass bottles & jars from food and beverages
