CTA’s Refrigeration Group Awarded Target Corporation’s Partner of the Year Award for 2011

CTA’s Refrigeration Group has been awarded Target Corporation’s Partner of the Year award for the refrigeration services they provided in 2011. CTA, who first began doing business with Target in 2010, was asked to help Target with their major growth plan of inserting grocery into the majority of their existing department stores.  Since then, the service opportunities, along with the value placed on those services has grown, and is best described by Target:

“Through their engagement, accountability and collaboration, CTA has provided exceptional support to several initiatives critical to Target’s success.  Using their industry experience, they have provided leadership to complete the refrigeration design and documentation for all the very unique City Targets and Super Target remodels.  They have also utilized their analytical skills to quickly assist Target in determining the viability of utilizing doors on the medium temperature cases in Canada.  For all of their tasks, CTA has been quick to respond, proactive and has created ideas that have generated value for Target, these qualities make CTA a true partner of excellence.”

The pool of nominees did not only include the other refrigeration design consultants, but also every other refrigeration vendor including system manufacturers, refrigerated case manufacturers, contractors, and on-site refrigeration representatives.

College of Southern Idaho’s Health Sciences and Human Services Building Receives Outstanding Design Award

American School and University acknowledges the College of Southern Idaho’s Health Sciences Human Services Building with an Outstanding Design award in their November 2010 Architectural Portfolio, Post Secondary Schools category. Kudos to the Design Build team which includes our construction partner, Starr Corporation, the decision makers at the College of Southern Idaho; and of course, the entire CTA A&E team! Also, a special shout out to Dr. Mark Sugden who recently received a Betterbricks Award for his extraordinary contributions to this project.

CSI’s Health Sciences Human Services Building is featured on page 108 of this month’s AS&U magazine.
